Summer Park Program
The season is upon us to start thinking of the activities of summer. This year we are increasing our fees by $5.00 per week. Applications will be available and accepted starting April 14, 2008. The program will run from June 16 through August 15. A complete schedule is posted under the park program tab.
Skatepark Committee.
A committee was formed to search the Town for the perfect fit for a new skatepark for all the residents to enjoy. The committee consists of Sean Dodge, Kim Hale, Bonnie Ash, Greg Winn, Dave Miller, Dave Harkless, Jon Wood (Park Commissioner), Chris Tyler (police Dept.), and Ryan Glass (Recreation Director). The committee will look into the following areas Mt. Eustis, Remich Park, Norton Pike Park, State street Lot, Old State salt shed, and The Dells. Criterias have been set and now we look forward to evaluating the sites.
